Took a ferry to Manly island today. Amazing island. Apparently a huge backpacker area so might look for a hostel there. They have a walk which wraps around the island so we decided to walk it. First time seeing the "real" australia. Saw a tropical bird which then insisted on chasing a cyclist for 3 blocks.
The walk took us to the northern most point on the island which ended with a huge cliff face and nothing but ocean. Dad insited on climbing over the railings and walking to the edge. Walked back to the main town and found a beach. Its been ages since ive been on a beach. Watched a midget jogging with a normal person. He looked like a shaved chimp.
Got back to Sydney and went to China town. Much better than Londons China town. Probably because there are alot more asians in Australia. Went to a terrible chinese resturant. They gave us complimentary soup. Looked like formaldehyde with a bloated lump of meat floating in it. I didnt have any...
