Day 35

tour bus picked me up at 7:30am. Not many people on the tour. about 16-17. I was surprised that more people where doing it by themselves instead of in a group. Started talking to a German women who was at the same hostel at me. Trying to be sociable. Got bored of her after a while. The tour guide had to try and make everyone talk to each other. She gave us pens and said to write on the window your name and where you come from. We had people from Korea, Poland, France, Sweden, China, Ireland and 2 from the UK.

The first stop was Torquay a surfing town. Pretty boring actually. Looked like they had built the town around the warehouse in he centre. Its famous for being the origin of Rip curl and Quicksilver. We had to wait for the tour guide to get back. Started talking to the Korean guy who's name was J Won. Apparently he served in the military and now he is travelling. I thought that was pretty cool but he didn't understand much English so the conversation was a bit of a drag.

Started the great ocean road. Very beautiful. Took lots of pictures which are coming soon. We all day and arrived at the 12 Apostles. Which were named so because its something to do with religieon. There are actually only 9 and one of them recentley collapsed so its now only 8. Started talking to the French guy, Arno and the swedish girl, Isabelle. They were both really good to talk to too. Arrived at out accomodation. There were only 4 guys on the tour including myself so we all shared a room. The other guy was Mehae from Poland. I didnt really like the guy at first but he grew on me.

We went back to the Apostles at sunset to take pictures. Watched the sunset. Weird to think that as the sun was setting it was rising in the UK. Went back to the hostel and bought beer. Played Irish snap for a few hours until are hands were crippled then went to bed...
